The 6mm expansion hand reamer slightly enlarges an existing hole to achieve the necessary fit, using spiral flutes to produce a smooth, even cut by hand. Crafted from cold work high speed tool steels and tempered to HRC 62±1, it is designed for long service life. For diameters from 6 to 7 mm, it has a 150 mm total length and a 45 mm flute length. It is suitable for repairing valve guides; in sizes 6.0 to 14.0, the smooth guide cylinder provides piloting for self-centering action.
Expansion hand reamer are often used where it is necessary to enlarge a hole slightly in order to secure the necessary fit.
High quality reamer crafted from the Cold work High speed tool steels and tempered for long life (HRC 62±1). Spiral flutes give a smooth, even cut.
