The 13mm expansion hand reamer slightly enlarges holes for the necessary fit and is suitable for valve guide repair applications in sizes 6.0 to 14.0. It is crafted from Cold work High speed tool steels and tempered for long life, with a hardness of HRC 62±1. Its spiral flutes provide a smooth, even cut, and the smooth guide cylinder helps with piloting and self-centering action. For the 12 to 15 mm diameter range, Total Length is 200 mm and Flute Length is 60 mm. The maximum recommended expansion for diameters from 10 to 20 is +0,25 mm.
Expansion hand reamer are often used where it is necessary to enlarge a hole slightly in order to secure the necessary fit.
