The 15mm expansion hand reamer slightly enlarges an existing hole to secure the necessary fit, using spiral flutes for a smooth, even cut when used by hand. Crafted from cold-work high-speed tool steel and tempered to HRC 62±1, it is designed for long service life. Within the 12 to 15 mm diameter specification range, it has a 200 mm total length and a 60 mm flute length. For diameters from 10 to 20 mm, the maximum recommended expansion is +0,25 mm.
Expansion hand reamer are often used where it is necessary to enlarge a hole slightly in order to secure the necessary fit.
High quality reamer crafted from the Cold work High speed tool steels and tempered for long life (HRC 62±1). Spiral flutes give a smooth, even cut.
