Straight CBN grinding wheel (1A1) for extreme rough grinding and maximum stock removal on hardened steels.
Designed for HSS, tool steel and other ferrous materials.

What it actually does:

Removes large amounts of material at maximum speed.
Used for initial shaping where productivity is more important than surface quality.

Grain size (B181 ≈ 180/150 μm):

Extra coarse grit for heavy-duty grinding.

• Typical Ra ~ 1.5–3.0 μm
• Leaves very rough surface

Stable under heavy grinding conditions and high load.

In practice:

This is a primary roughing wheel.
Used as the first step before B151 → B126 → B107.
Focus is bulk material removal and speed.
