4B2 dish grinding wheel for heavy rough sharpening and preparation of tool face surfaces.
Designed for carbide and other hard brittle materials.

Where it is actually used:

Used for face grinding and sharpening at early stage where high stock removal is required.
Typical applications include:

• Initial face grinding of end mills and milling cutters
• Sharpening of carbide saw blades from solid or heavily worn condition
• Bulk material removal before D126 → D107 sequence

The dish shape provides accurate contact on flat and angular surfaces.

What it actually does:

Maximum material removal with basic control of flatness.
Quickly removes large volumes of material and establishes primary surface geometry.

Grain size (D151 ≈ 150/125 μm):

• Very high stock removal rate
• Typical Ra ~ 1.0–2.0 μm
• Leaves deep and aggressive grinding marks

In practice:

This is a primary heavy roughing wheel.
Used before D126 → D107 → D91 sequence.
Focus is fast bulk removal and initial flatness setup.
