4B2 dish grinding wheel for heavy rough sharpening and preparation of tool face surfaces.
Designed for carbide and other hard brittle materials.

Where it is actually used:

Used for face grinding and sharpening with reduced grinding forces at early heavy rough stage.
Typical applications include:

• Initial face grinding on low-rigidity machines
• Sharpening of long or vibration-sensitive tools
• Bulk material removal under controlled conditions

The dish shape provides accurate contact on flat and angular surfaces.

What it actually does:

High material removal with smoother and more stable cutting behavior.
Less aggressive than higher concentrations, improving control and reducing vibration impact.

Grain size (D151 ≈ 150/125 μm):

• Very high stock removal rate
• Typical Ra ~ 1.0–2.0 μm
• Prepares surface for D126 → D107 sequence

• Significantly reduced grinding forces
