Straight CBN grinding wheel (1A1) for fine grinding of hardened steels.
Designed for HSS, tool steel and other ferrous materials.

What it actually does:

Controlled material removal with stable cutting performance.
More aggressive than finer grits, but already suitable for fine grinding.

Grain size (B91 ≈ 90/75 μm):

Medium grit for fine grinding operations.

• Good balance between stock removal and surface quality
• Typical Ra ~ 0.3–0.8 μm
• Prepares surface for finer B64 / B46

Stable and predictable in steel grinding.

In practice:

This is a fine grinding wheel for steels.
Used after rough grinding to refine geometry before finishing stages.
Often first step where surface quality becomes important.
