1A1 CBN Grinding Wheel – FEPA B107 (106/90 μm) | CBN1

Straight CBN grinding wheel (1A1) for rough and controlled fine grinding of hardened steels.
Designed for HSS, tool steel and other ferrous materials.

What it actually does:

Efficient material removal with better control than coarser grits.
Used for shaping and preparing surface before fine grinding stages.

Grain size (B107 ≈ 106/90 μm):

Medium-coarse grit for stable grinding.

• Good stock removal rate
• Typical Ra ~ 0.5–1.0 μm
• Prepares surface for B91 → B64

More controlled than B126/B151, but not a finishing grit.

In practice:

This is a transition grinding wheel.
Used after rough grinding (B151/B126) to stabilize geometry before fine stages.
Often the first step where surface quality becomes more controlled.
