Designed for carbide, ceramics and other hard brittle materials.

What it actually does:

Very aggressive material removal at maximum productivity.
Used for removing large stock and initial shaping of workpieces.

Grain size (D181 ≈ 180/150 μm):

Extra coarse diamond grit for heavy-duty grinding.

• Maximum stock removal rate
• Typical Ra ~ 1.5–3.0 μm
• Leaves very deep and visible scratches

Stable under heavy grinding conditions and high load.

In practice:

This is a primary roughing wheel.
Used as the first step in grinding sequence before D151 → D126 → D107.
Focus is speed and bulk material removal.
