Straight diamond wheel (1A1) for semi-finish grinding and surface preparation.
Designed for carbide, ceramics and other hard brittle materials.

What it actually does:

Pre-finishing with moderate stock removal and controlled surface quality.
Acts as a bridge between rough grinding (D46/D64) and fine finishing (M20/M16).

Grain size (M25 ≈ 28/20 μm):

Fine grit at the start of finishing range.

• Removes material faster than M20/M16
• Typical Ra ~ 0.08–0.20 μm
• Good step for stabilizing geometry before fine stages

More stable and forgiving than finer micron grits.

Bond (B2-01):

• Self-sharpening
• Controlled heat generation
• Stable cutting behavior
• Optimized for semi-finish operations

In practice:

This is a pre-finish wheel.
Used after rough grinding to clean geometry before M20/M16.
Works best after D46 → D25 sequence.
