Short Description
1–6 Nm Torque Screwdriver (GSQ-6) – Preset Mechanical Gunsmith Tool
Preset torque screwdriver for controlled tightening of threaded fasteners.
Designed for optics, mounts and precision assemblies where torque matters.
What it actually does:
Applies repeatable torque to screws.
Prevents over-tightening and damage to threads, optics or mounts.
Torque system (preset type):
- Adjustable torque range: 1–6 Nm
- Click-type mechanism with audible + tactile feedback
- Once torque is reached → tool slips (no over-tightening)
- Automatically resets after release
Adjustment system:
- Main linear scale + micro adjustment ring
- Step: 0.1 Nm
- Accuracy: ±6%
Material & construction:
- Aluminum alloy body
- Mechanical internal structure
- Designed for repeated service use
In practice (gunsmith use):
This is a torque control tool, not a regular screwdriver.
Used where screw tension directly affects performance.
- Scope rings (critical – prevents tube deformation)
- Scope base / rail screws
- Red dot & optics mounts
- Action screws (light platforms)
- Accessory mounting (flashlights, rails, adapters)
Why torque matters:
- Overtightening → stripped threads / damaged optics
- Undertightening → shift of zero / loose mounts
- Correct torque → repeatable and stable setup
Note: Designed for precision tightening only.
Not for breaking loose tight or seized fasteners.
Specification:
- Model: GSQ-6
- Torque range: 1–6 Nm
- Step: 0.1 Nm

- Clockwise → torque-controlled tightening
- Counterclockwise → regular loosening
- Click signal when torque is reached
Use for:
- Optics installation
- Scope rings & bases
- Rails (Picatinny / Weaver)
- Red dot mounting
